Cookies Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Alex Omeyer trading as Full Stack Founder ("we", "us", "our") operates clien.ai and any associated subdomains (collectively, the "Services").
This Cookies Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and your choices regarding cookies.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website owners.
Cookies can be "persistent" or "session" cookies:
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser
Cookies can also be classified as:
- First-party cookies are set by us directly
- Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services we use
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Services to function properly. They enable core functionality such as authentication, security, and session management. Without these cookies, the Services cannot function.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase authentication | Session | First-party |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe fraud prevention | 1 year | Third-party |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe session | Session | Third-party |
2.2 Functional Cookies
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, such as remembering your preferences.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| sidebar_state | Remember sidebar open/closed | 7 days | First-party |
2.3 Analytics Cookies
These optional analytics technologies help us understand how visitors interact with our Services by collecting and reporting pseudonymous usage information. For signed-in PostHog activity, that pseudonymous identifier is your Supabase user ID, not your name or email address.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| _vercel_insights_* | Vercel Analytics | Session | Third-party |
If you accept analytics, PostHog records page-view and page-leave events using memory-only SDK storage. Clien.ai configures PostHog not to set its own cookie or keep a durable identifier in local or session storage. Signed-in identity is restored from your Clien.ai account on each load. See our Privacy Policy for the fields sent with this browser stream.
2.4 Server-side Product Analytics
For signed-in users, we also process a limited set of pseudonymous product-lifecycle events on our servers and send them to PostHog's EU service. This processing does not use an analytics cookie, device identifier, or browser fingerprint, and it takes place independently of your browser cookie choice. It is described in our Privacy Policy, including the event fields, retention period, legal basis, and how to object.
3. Your Cookie Choices
3.1 Cookie Consent
When you first visit our Services, you will be presented with a cookie banner asking for your consent to non-essential cookies. You can:
- Accept — enables all cookie categories including analytics
- Decline — only strictly necessary cookies will be used
You can change your preference at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer, or by adjusting your browser settings as described below.
3.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Delete some or all cookies
- Block cookies from being set
- Set preferences for different websites
Please note that if you block or delete cookies, some parts of the Services may not function properly.
How to manage cookies in popular browsers:
3.3 Opt-Out of Analytics
If you have accepted cookies but later wish to opt out of browser analytics tracking:
- Clear your cookies and decline when the cookie banner reappears
- Use browser privacy extensions such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger
- Vercel Analytics: Privacy-focused and does not use cookies for tracking individual users
These browser controls do not govern the cookie-free server-side product analytics described in Section 2.4. To object to future non-essential server-side analytics for your account, email alex@fullstackfounder.ai.
4. Do Not Track
Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that signals to websites that you do not wish to be tracked. Our Services currently do not respond to Do Not Track signals, but we respect your cookie preferences as set through our consent mechanism.
5. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Effective" date.
